The advice is very much dependent on many factors such as the student's levels (English and age), learning preference, their purposes in learning English and so on. In general, I will say such words as "Good. You have improved a lots. Keep on using the English expression that we have learnt. Don't be afraid of making mistakes because making mistakes is part of the learning process. In the meantime, you just need to pay a little more attention to the use of SHE and HE while speaking ". I believe that every student needs encouragement as well as challenges and input to work on.
生徒さんへの私のアドバイスは、学生のレベルや年齢、目的など多くのことによります。一般的には、私はこのような言葉を言います。「いいですよ！とても上達しました。学習した英語の表現を使い続けてください。
誤りをおかすことが学習の過程の一部であるので、誤りをおかすことを恐れないでください。ただ、会話のときSHEとHEを使い分ける少しの注意を払ってくださいね。」
私は、すべての学生が、挑戦や覚えることと同様に激励も必要とすると信じています。

Ｌearning English is not so difficult that many people thought. However, in the beginning of study, some students may don't have self confidence to practice what they have learned so far. As they start practicing their skill, they will find how interesting and useful English is in daily life activity. As they start feeling interest in English, then will study English, will also increase at this point, they shouldn't stop otherwise they will lose what they have studied so far. The idea is very simple, we can not stop trying to achieve something. In order to do that we have to make it as enjoyable as possible.
英語学習は多くの人たちが考えるほどむずかしいことではありません。けれども、最初のうちは今まで習ったことを実践する自信が多くの人にはないでしょう。ただ英語のレベルが上がるにつれ、日常生活で英語がいかに大切で必要なものであるかが分かるようになるでしょう。英会話に関心を持ち始めることで、学ぼうという意思がおき、またその気持ちが膨らむのです。ここで学ぶことをやめるべきではありません。なぜなら、さもないと、今まで勉強したことを失ってしまうからです。この考えはとても単純です。私たちは何かを成し遂げるのをやめてはいけないのです。それはできる限り、楽しんでやるためにです。

One can not learn a language just by mastering books on how to speak it or what is the grammar behind it, but by speaking it from the experience that I have from my Japanese friends, I came to know that they are shy to speak in English because they are afraid to make mistakes. So, in my opinion, it's the barrier of shyness that one has to cross and then feel free to make mistakes.
言語を学ぶために、その言語の話し方、または文法についての大きな本をマスターすることよりも、その言語をできるだけ使うことが必要と思います。日本人の友達からの経験によると、みんな話す時、間違えることを嫌がり恥ずかしいと思っています。このため、知識を持っているのに話せなくなっています。だから、英語を話せるようになるためには、この恥ずかしい壁を越えることが大事だと思います。みなさん、頑張って下さい。

どんな新しい言語の学習でも、良くなるポイントは良く聞くこととたくさん話すことです。話している途中で間違えても気にしないで続けて下さい。外国人がいなくても、日本人さえいえれば話し相手として英会話を練習してかまわないです。子供、家族、友人、誰でも、もし相手が英語が得意でなくても大丈夫です。英語で何を話したのか単に相手に説明しようとするだけでも英語が得意になるかも知れません。幼い子供は大人の話を良く聞いて、まねをして、新しい言葉を学びます。あなたも映画をみて、良く聞いて、聞いたことをもう一度自分で話して学んでください。
The key to learning any new language is by attentive listening and lots of speaking. Do not worry about making grammatical mistakes or using a wrong word. Practice speaking English even to Japanese when there are no foreigners. Practice speaking to your children, family or best friend even though they are not good in English. You might improve English by just trying to explain what you have spoken to your partner. Small children learn their language by listening to what the adult says and mimic them. Try and watch good English movies, listen carefully to the characters in the movie and try to repeat back what they have said. Good luck!!

English is not a difficult language at all, especially for Japanese people who already have so many foreign words in their language. As a general rule, remember that practice makes a man perfect. The more you speak English, the more proficient you will become in this language. While speaking, try to concentrate at communicating your thoughts to the listener, rather than at grammar or sentence pattern. While listening, try to observe the sentence pattern of the speaker and learn new words. It is better to make a dictionary of your own where you can record newly learned words.
英語は難しくないです。英会話を話すとき間違いは大丈夫です。英語の映画とかTVニュースを見るのがいいです。新しい単語を覚えましょう。
英語は、特に日本語の中に既に非常に多くの外国語を持っている人々にとって、全く困難な言語ではないと思います。練習が人を完全にすることを覚えておいてください。英語を話せば話すほど、熟練になるでしょう。
話している間は、文法か文型でではなくリスナーにあなたの考えを伝えることに集中して下さい。
聞いている間は、スピーカーの文パターンを観察し、新しい単語を習得してください。

Try to read more in English, starting from simple illustrated books because visual memory gives us the first step for discovering the way of learning English. Watch movies in English and with English subtitles / never Japanese subtitles / as much as you can. It helps you to improve your listening skill. If you are interested in music, listen to the song you like, try to catch the words and sing loudly / you can find the lyrics on the internet/. Pronunciation might be get better as long as you sing your favorite songs together with your favorite singers.
辞書を引きながら本を読むことも大事なのですが、一度覚えた言葉をできるだけ早く身に着ける日常会話で使っていきましょう。自分の日記などを英語で書き始めましょう。お互いメールするときも英語を使っていけば、だんだん英語は楽しくなるはずだと思います。

First of all, you should get over your fears and other embarrassment that are not letting you talk freely in English. I noticed that most Japanese people know English grammar very well and have rich vocabulary. They should get relaxed and practice conversation. Except that, you should go abroad for longer period. I think experiencing living abroad will help you a lot.

I believe watching movies and listening to music is a good way to start. If you are interested in something, it makes a lot easier to remember. Reading a news paper or novel can help improve your vocabulary and singing along to your favorite song can help with your pronunciation.
テレビをみたり音楽を聴いたりすることがいいと思います。興味があったら何でも覚えやすいと思います。新聞や小説を読むと単語を勉強することができて、好きな歌を歌うと発音はだんだん良くなると思います。
